Why do we love Rick Riordan.....
I love him because he makes reading fun and not just...reading...

I like his style of writing, how he makes us laugh and the way he makes learning mythology fun. An has really original ideas , i mean how many other books out there are about greek mythology in modern times ?

Well... he's a pretty good writer, and he kept the books quick paced, and full of humor. They aren't classics, but they are fun casual reads.

They are fun. I would not say that they are the best books in the world, but they are good.

They are indeed good. However, I love Riordan as an author because of his consistency. He's doing two different series as of now, and he manages to release a book for each series once a year, and these aren't small books. Lately, his books have been getting even larger. The Kane Chronicle's first book, The Red Pyramid, is over 400 pages, and The Lost Hero is bigger as well. He even had the title for his second book in the Heroes of Olympus series out when he finished the first book.
I'm tellin ya, he's definitely thought ahead in his work.

I didn't really like the red pyramid but probably because I'm a huge egyptian geek I got mad at small slip ups although I did love the lost hero

I think the Greek is more developed in the books than the other but I still like it...I think that it is kind of a copy at the same time but I still want to read it....
I love that he made me want to read not just read and he tought me how to love to read...

i read 200 pages put the book down to rest and miss it the entire time i am resting! He made me a librian with his books got them rented out ALL of my percy jackson books. I liked his greek more then egyptian too. (though i do like the book)I also think he made lost hero more seriose but i do think it was a good book. I like his books becuase i loved history anyway and i knew all the myths and was getting tired of my studies so i wanted a new myth and rick gave me one.
