I may be mistaken, but wasn't this from Sea of Monsters?
Anywho, I though The Battle of the Labyrinth was the best book in the PJO series. There were good emotions, it was well plotted and had a good climax. Plus Rachel vs. Annabeth was fun.

I think it was probably the second best, next to the Titan's Curse. One major thing for me is that it showed that Rick didn't just want us to think "percabeth percabeth percabeth" and that Percy isn't one of those main characters who drapes themselves over one girl, and does have the ability to fall in love with others.
